The fabric is a proprietary 100-percent polyester with a C0 durable water repellent treatment and a windproof coating on the lining, so the capacity is backed by weather handling rather than left to a plain shell. The pattern itself, a desert night sky camo, has reflective thread sewn into its grid sections, which does actual work in low light rather than sitting there as decoration.

Construction is two zip compartments: a main top opening and a lower sub-pocket sized to hold a folded umbrella or a bottle horizontally.
