Monogram 900 Series Dishwasher

Monogram's 900 Series Dishwasher arrives in April 2026 at $2,500, with more than ninety wash jets, four handle options and four banks of interior LED lighting. Among the jets are nozzles aimed at water bottles.

Start with the lighting, because it tells you what the product is for. A dishwasher is a sealed box that works in the dark with the door shut. Four banks of LEDs inside it do not improve the wash. They exist for the two seconds when the door is open and somebody is looking in, which are the same two seconds the machine has to justify costing five times one that gets plates clean.

The water-bottle nozzles are the opposite kind of feature and a genuinely good one. Tall insulated bottles are the single thing a dishwasher does worst: they block the spray arm, hold water in the base, and come out wet inside. A dedicated jet fired up into them solves a problem every household with a gym bag actually has.

The handles being a separate line on a $2,500 appliance is the detail we would like on the record.
